Prison Island and Stone Town Tour to Help Zanzibar People

8:00am pick up at your hotel

Pickup at 8:00 am. First stop from the hotel is Stone Town beach, to take a boat to the island. The boat ride is 30 minutes. Explore the island to see the prison building and learn its history. There will be time allowed for anyone who wants to swim in the sea at the island for about an hour. When finished, the boat will take you back to the town.

In Stone Town the a guide will show you historical sites, the famous Zanzibar doors, the museum of the singer Freddy Mecury's childhood house, the old fort and the slave market.

Time is flexible so if would like to so some shopping along the way, no problem. The tour will take 2 hrs. At the end, a car will drive you back to your hotel.

Note: lunch is not included. The guide can recommend a nice place to eat lunch, while in Stone Town.

Ending time 6:00pm Return to hotel.
